Workshop | Between violence and care: the relationship with the other in partner acrobatics

21 June | 9.30 - 12.00

This workshop is linked to the concepts developed during the creations of the company Un Loup pour l'Homme. Its aim is to share the fruit of that research, but also to extend it.

We will focus on three areas of work:
WALKING ON THE BODY: Finding your support on your partner's body in different postures, daring to give your weight / daring to receive weight.
CONFIDENCE: Developing self-confidence and confidence in others, playing with fears and limits and overcoming them. Blind work.
PLAY: A playful approach makes it possible to create flexible, lively writing, rooted in physical action. Imposing constraints on research and improvisation, conceived as the rules of the game.

Trained at the CNAC, Alexandre Fray founded with Fred Arsenaul the Cie Un Loup pour l'Homme, devoting themselves to a personal and innovative approach to partner-acrobatics, mirroring the dynamics of human relationships. The acrobat is first and foremost a social being, grappling with both his strengths and weaknesses. Alexandre is co-author of «Appris par corps», «Face Nord», «Rare Birds» and «Projet Grand-mère». He regularly accompanies new creations and likes to share his acrobatic approach.
